Logistic Network Planning Manager (Ground Operations)

This role is a critical business partner for the business units by developing innovative and efficient operating processes that deliver outstanding service at optimal cost. The role oversees planning and implementation of first mile and last mile operating plans, warehouse sortation operations and flight network connections. You will also coordinate road network planning, develop contingency plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and ensure seamless transportation access. Leading transformation and technology deployment will be integral for the role. Essential Duties / Responsibilities: • Lead ground movement and airport gate planning and engineering activities, ensuring efficient utilization of airport facilities, smooth aircraft movement, and timely turnaround of flights to minimize delays. • Provide expert support for ground network and commercial airlift implementation, overseeing the development and execution of plans to optimize ground handling processes • Develop and implement contingency plans for unforeseen events or disruptions, such as adverse weather conditions or operational emergencies, to maintain operational continuity and minimize service interruptions. • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and external partners to coordinate road network planning efforts, facilitating seamless transportation access to and from the airport for passengers, employees, and cargo. • Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of ground movement operations, gate utilization, and road network efficiency to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements for increased productivity and cost-effectiveness. • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the evaluation and selection of equipment, systems, and technologies to support ground movement, gate operations, and road network planning activities, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of projects related to ground movement, gate planning, and road network optimization, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve project objectives. • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ground operations, gate utilization, and road network performance, identifying trends, deviations, and opportunities for optimization to drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Develop and deliver training programs and materials for airport staff, ground handling agents, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety protocols, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements related to ground movement and gate operations. • May be required to perform other duties as assigned
