The Head of AI Officer will be responsible for leading the development, deployment, and management of cutting-edge AI technologies across the organization. This role will involve creating and implementing a comprehensive AI strategy, overseeing AI-driven projects, and ensuring the alignment of AI initiatives with business objectives. The Head of AI Officer will work closely with executive leadership, data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure that AI delivers meaningful value to the organization. Responsibilities: ***AI Strategy & Leadership: • Develop and implement an AI strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. • Establish key AI objectives and success metrics, ensuring alignment with broader business strategy. • Drive the integration of AI solutions into existing products, services, and business processes to optimize operations and improve decision-making. ***AI Research & Development: • Oversee AI research and development initiatives to ensure the continuous innovation of AI models, algorithms, and systems. • Monitor the latest advancements in AI technologies such as machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and predictive analytics to keep the organization at the forefront of AI innovation. • Lead collaborations with external AI research institutions,startups, and vendors to stay ahead of the competition. *** AI Solution Development & Deployment: • Guide the design, development, and deployment of AI models and systems to meet business requirements. • Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software development teams to create scalable AI-driven solutions. • Oversee the operationalization of AI systems, ensuring that models are deployed efficiently and integrated seamlessly with existing systems *** Data Governance & Ethical AI: • Ensure that AI models and algorithms comply with data governance, privacy regulations, and ethical guidelines. • Advocate for responsible and ethical use of AI, focusing on minimizing bias and ensuring inclusivity in AI applications. • Develop policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of AI data and solutions. *** Team Leadership & Collaboration: • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, AI researchers, machine learning engineers, and analysts. • Partner with executive leadership, technology teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of AI initiatives with the overall business strategy. • Provide AI-related insights to the board and senior leadership, influencing key decisionmaking processes. *** Budgeting & Resource Management: • Oversee the AI department’s budget, ensuring the effective allocation of resources to priority AI projects. • Secure funding for strategic AI initiatives and R&D from internal and external sources. • Manage relationships with AI vendors, contractors, and technology partners. Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields. Ph.D. in AI or a relevant area is a plus. • At least 5 years in a leadership position. • Experience in managing AI portfolio of 30M USD and above • Proven track record in developing and deploying AI/ML models in large-scale, high-impact projects. • Strong knowledge of AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision. • Experience in working with AI frameworks and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.). • Hands-on experience with cloud AI services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). • Strong understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and ethical AI practices. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business-friendly insights
