Sr Acoustic Engineer

Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team: • At least 8+ experience in audio hardware development • Knowledge of acoustic component and acoustic system characteristics (Microphone/Speaker) • Experience with acoustical modeling (e.g., linear/nonlinear lump element model, FEM model…etc) • Experience with acoustical testing (e.g., Audio Precision, SoundCheck and ACQUA…etc.) • Experience with audio DSP tuning to enhance user experience • Knowledge of audio processing pipeline(Gain, EQ and DRC) • Knowledge of voice processing algorithms (noise suppression, echo cancellation, and beamforming) • Communication in both Chinese and English In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include: • Specific experience with spatial audio, HRTFs, surround sound virtualization, and 3D audio rendering • Specific experience with gaming audio or other consumer audio products • Presentation to groups with diverse backgrounds • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset. • Shipping high-volume consumer products Education: • Candidates for this position will usually have a degree in Acoustics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 8+ years of related industry experience.
