Ontology Development Advisor

We are building an AI-powered platform that transforms information into structured, reusable knowledge. We seek an Ontology Advisor who can guide our ontology design and also deliver a proof-of-concept knowledge graph independently. Responsibilities • Advise on ontology development: taxonomy → thesaurus → ontology. • Guide representation in RDF/OWL, aligned with W3C standards. • Independently build a POC-scale ontology/knowledge graph. • Recommend tools and frameworks (e.g., Neo4J, GraphDB, SKOS, OWL). • Provide best practices for schema evolution, interoperability, and scaling. Qualifications • Strong expertise in ontology engineering and semantic technologies. • Hands-on experience with RDF, RDFS, OWL, SKOS. • Proven ability to design and implement small-scale ontologies/graphs independently. • Familiarity with graph databases and reasoning tools. • Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written). Nice to Have • Experience applying ontologies in real-world applications. • Familiarity with RAG and AI-driven knowledge systems.
