Position Overview The role sits within Index Change and works very closely with the Index Management, Index Review, Technology and Research & Analytics teams globally by pooling resources when and where necessary. Index Change is part of the Benchmark and Indices Operations Division. We are responsible for all elements of Business Change/Operational Readiness of the FTSE Russell portfolio. The role is strategic and provides User Acceptance Testing (UAT) expertise across projects in London Stock Exchange. It is a global group, with teams in London, Taipei and Fort Mill. The group operates a “follow the sun model” and works as a single team across the different time zones. Role Responsibilities: - The individual will be responsible for key areas that include, but are not limited to: - Being a key role focusing on change initiatives including business processes, technology and new products. - Follow-up project and ensuring that the development process is being demonstrably followed, and project deliverables meet business requirements. -Development/Execution exhaustive set UAT of Test Plans and Scripts. - Supporting the training of end users, provided training material and execution reports. - Liaison with Development, QA and the Business. Education and Experience Required - Bachelor's degree, at least 1 year working experience in Finance Sector or Commercial experience implementing projects within a financial institution. - Excellent knowledge of financial markets –Equities especially. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allowing an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the company and with external clients/suppliers. - Experience of Excel, VBA and SQL.
