In addition to being equidistant from Taipei 101 and Da'an Park (a 20 minute walk in either direction), you're never too far from cafes, restaurants or local shops! ✔ WHAT WE OFFER: • Competitive salary based on related experience/qualifications (ranging from $70,000-$100,000NTD/month) • End of the year performance bonus up to $70,000 • Additional seasonal bonuses throughout the year • Paid holidays | annual leave | sick leave | Menstrual leave • Annual professional development stipend available for courses and continued learning • ARC | Health | Labor Insurance sponsorship • Small class sizes (Maximum 16) • Same classes for an entire year • Your own classroom • American curriculum • School provided laptop and speaker • Growth opportunities • Professional development classes ➤ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: • You are a passport holder from a native English-speaking country (US, CAN, SA, UK, NZ, AUS, IRL) • You have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred) • You have a minimum of 3 years full-time classroom teaching experience • You are able to thrive in a fast-paced environment • You have a high degree of autonomy and flexibility • You maintain a growth mindset • You are passionate about child development • You are creative and solution-oriented • You possess strong communication skills ➤ WHAT YOU WILL DO Young Learner teachers work to create a rich and responsive learning environment and meet the individual needs of students in line with our school’s mission. Our staff works to build meaningful relationships and dialogue with children warmly and respectfully that instills joy in learning and nurtures critical thinking, independence, and a positive self-concept. You will participate in team meetings and in ongoing professional development while also taking the initiative to seek out opportunities to build on professional knowledge. Our Young Learner teachers work collaboratively with fellow grade-level teachers to plan syllabi and discuss/reflect on execution for each semester.
