1. Execute and assist with PCBA and module Troubleshooting, Bring-up, and Rework activities.
2. Assist in documenting and refining Product troubleshooting procedures.
3. Provide clear and timely Failure Analysis findings to Sr. Hardware (HW) test development engineers.
4. Provide initial on-site Technical support to the Manufacturing partners to help Triage issues, Document production fallouts, and support Failure Analysis efforts.
5. Co-work with Waymo Taiwan, and Waymo US and report the onsite issue in the Buganizer system.
6. Work Location: Quanta Guishan office (60%), Waymo Taipei 101 office (40%)

FAE (Hardware Test Engineer) | Production Test - PCBA | Autonomous driving
• Role:
The HW Test Engineer is acting as the FAE of Waymo Taiwan on-site in Quanta (manufacturer), who provides essential Technical support on Production test processes, incl. initial Issue triage, Troubleshooting production fallouts, Yield improvement efforts, and supporting the development and maintenance of Tester stations & fixtures.
• Project/Product Overview:
Waymo computing related Production Testers and products. Waymo vendor manager will provide onsite training and essential SOP & documentation.
We are building a modular integration layer to enable scalable, cross-brand automation. You will be responsible for abstracting industrial fieldbus protocols, developing SDKs, and containerizing backend services that allow System Integrators (SI) to easily integrate peripherals and industrial automation equipment.
Responsibilities
- Abstract industrial protocols into standardized and reusable interfaces
- Develop SDKs and templates that reduce SI’s integration effort
- Build and deploy containerized backend services with Docker and FastAPI
- Perform network debugging and ensure reliable system communication
Core Skills
- Solid knowledge of RS232, RS485, CAN communication and Modbus protocol (RTU/TCP)
- Proficient in Python with experience in FastAPI and API design
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Linux-based system development
- Familiarity with TCP/UDP socket programming and network debugging

1. Motherboard schematics design/debug ,at least 5 years experience
