Building trust, reputation, and close working ties with local partners is a key ingredient to delivering results.
Synology is rapidly expanding in Korea Region and is seeking multi-tasking experts that can help us drive results in local markets. As a Account Manager, you will be working on creating plans together with other sales and marketing team members to maximize results. At the same time, you'll be working with channel partners to build up a network and to find and develop potential customers.
You will:
- Develop potential business customers and expand market share in Korea
- Regularly visit local channel partners and maintain customer relationships
- Conduct market research, account and order operations, and report accordingly
- Develop business in Korea, including product analysis and presentations, pre-sales consulting, project management and channel promotions
What You'll Be Doing
• Drive sales growth through new customer acquisition and revitalization of underpenetrated or neglected accounts, with a strong focus on interconnect, passive, and electromechanical (IP&E) components. Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Identify and target high-growth, high-margin segments (e.g., fast-growing SMBs) using market insights and IP&E expertise. Generate and prioritize qualified leads from suppliers and internal sources to address evolving customer needs.
• Create and drive new opportunities by matching Arrow’s full range of IP&E solutions to customer requirements. Maximize profit and margin through value-added offerings, managing local and cross-regional transactions.
• Build and maintain influential relationships with key decision-makers and executives by staying ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the IP&E space.
What We Are Looking For
• Typically requires a 4-year degree with 3 to 5 years of related experience in semiconductor companies or electronics distributors.
• Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in interconnect, passive and electromechanical (IP&E) components.
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
• Works independently; receives minimal guidance
• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
• Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist

What You’ll Be Doing
• Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities, providing technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
• Attend supplier trainings in person and via conference calls.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As an Industrial PC BDM, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and developing strategic partnerships in the Industrial PC and Embedded PC related industries, such as Automation, Energy and Utilities, Healthcare, Retail, and Transportation industries. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to generate leads, qualify prospects, and close deals.
1.Present and sell cable and harness products to current and potential customers.
2.Conduct required market survey and marketing plan to support sales growth.
3.Develop business in new market or territory.
4.Penetrate target accounts for cable products and project selling.
5.Lead/ do necessary communication between oversea factory and customer for custom projects from initial phase to production phase.
6.Help to communicate quality requirements / issues and solve customer quality complaint.
7.Driving new products development plan.
8.Others as assigned by upper management.
9.Need to travel on business globally.
1. Achieve the set annual sales target.
2. Develop & manage the channel partners in the territory for ProAV & vertical markets.
3. Co-work with channel/resellers for product training and sales promo strategy. Handle weekly pipeline to ensure project schedule is on time.
4. Team up with marketing members and have channel marketing activates with Channel Partner.
5. Create solid business development plan & concrete execution strategy.
6. Provide necessary Doc. or Sales reports to Sales team and Management.
7. Other duties as required from Supervisors.
