Role and responsibilities
For our Global Operations Center in Taiwan we are searching for Supply Chain Professionals. You fulfill the demand of our customers for spare parts and tools for their maintenance activities on some of the most complex machines in the right quantity and at the right time & cost.
Time is of the essence to ensure a seamless production of our customers without interruptions on our machines.
-Handling of urgent material requests from worldwide customers in a rolling 24/7 shift system with the right customer focus, while meeting all milestones related to communication and execution
-Monitoring of worldwide shipments
-Ability to resolve complex issues and drive improvements to further optimize processes
-Ability to support escalations and provide communication proposals for review
-Constructive and reliable communication with worldwide stakeholders from all departments within ASML
-This position requires shift work.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in related subject i.e. Supply Chain Management, Information Science, Engineering etc. preferred
-Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an international company, semiconductor industry is preferred
-A tactical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Analytical thinking and ability to organize and prioritize workload

Primary Responsibility :
■Responsible for initiating and managing RFQ, lead time, Cost estimation for equipment, parts, and services in semiconductor industry
■Ability to analyze cost with various sources to achieve product cost and quality requirement
■Ability to utilize existing supplier matrix for quoting, negotiating and award business to suppliers.
■Drive sourcing decisions and strategy to ensure supply continuity with best business models and mitigate risk on lead time and cost impact to business.
■Ensure smooth product transition from NPI to volume manufacturing.
■Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define sourcing strategies/ plans for new projects.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
■A degree in Industrial Engineering or comparable, alternately a degree on business related.
■5+ years of working experience in technical sourcing, negotiation, supplier relationship and management.
■In depth knowledge on factory operations and manufacturing process
■Relevant expertise and Familiarity working with semiconductor manufacturers and capable of negotiating and enforcing business agreements.
■Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in MS Excel and databases to extract, manipulate and organize large datasets. (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection)
■A strong multi-cultural and interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork
■Strong communication in English
Primary Responsibility :

■Ensure smooth product transition from NPI to volume manufacturing.
■Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define sourcing strategies/ plans for new projects.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
■A degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable, alternately a degree on business related.
■5+ years of working experience in technical sourcing, negotiation, supplier relationship and management.
■General knowledge on manufacturing methods , machining process, quality requirements related to products and cost structure.
■Ability to read drawing,BOM, special process/specification.
■Relevant expertise and Familiarity working with semiconductor manufacturers and capable of negotiating and enforcing business agreements.
■Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in MS Excel and databases to extract, manipulate and organize large datasets.
■A strong multi-cultural and interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork
Preferred qualifications:
■A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
■5+ years of experience in international procurement, ideally in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
■Experience with global sourcing and managing complex supply chains, data analysis tools and techniques to drive procurement decisions.
■Knowledge of semiconductor components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
■Fluent in English on communication
JOB DESCRIPTION
■Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of specifications, quantities, pricing, and delivery terms. Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and address any delays or discrepancies.
■Maintain regular communication with suppliers, resolving issues related to orders, quality, or delivery. Monitor supplier performance and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
■Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible value for the company , when required. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through volume discounts, alternative sourcing options, or value engineering , when required
■Monitor inventory levels of assigned commodities to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs. Coordinate with planning and production teams to adjust purchasing activities based on demand fluctuations.
■Analyze procurement data to identify trends, track spending patterns, and measure supplier performance. Prepare regular reports for management on key procurement metrics.
