Job Description: • Develop next generation conductive ink or adhesive for smart phone display or automotive display or other applications • Explore new adhesive platforms through patent landscape analysis, fundamental understanding, experiment design, data analysis, and result interpretation • Establish new methodology development and improvement to simulate customer in line test results/ issue, formulate products to solve customer technical challenges and communicate with customers • This role is responsible for collaborating with different functions including Application/Quality/scale-up Engineering/Manufacturing/EHS, etc., to deliver new products Job Qualifications: • PhD degree in Polymer chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Material Science is required • Experience in process, dispersant and filler selection for adhesive containing inorganic or organic fillers is prefered • Experience in acrylic, polyurethane, epoxy or silicone type UV or moisture curing adhesive is plus • Experience in formulation development, DOE experience and industrial working experience is a plus • Independent researcher as well as team player • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Fluent in English & Mandarin. • Be able to travel to US and within Asia.

We are seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to join our Specialty Gas Global Analytical Technology team at our Kaohsiung, Taiwan site. In this role, you will implement and maintain in-line analytical systems at our Specialty Gas facilities. This role requires close collaboration with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Process Safety, and external vendors/contractors to ensure the smooth operation of automated analytical systems in Specialty Gas production facilities. The position will be located at the Jade Park site in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, while also supporting additional production sites in Taiwan and Malaysia. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a multi-regional, multi-cultural environment across various time zones are essential. Your Role: ．Provide advanced troubleshooting support for in-line analytical instrumentation at manufacturing sites in Taiwan and external supplier sites in Malaysia to ensure stable plant operations. ．Develop and validate analytical methods using GC, FTIR, CRDS and/or ICP-MS to meet customer specifications. ．Participate in quality and business support investigations by designing experiments and producing customer facing documents. ．Support the design, fabrication, implementation, and commissioning of new automated analytical systems. ．Utilize best safety practices and promote a culture of safety within the laboratory. ．Occasional travel (10%) may be required. Who You Are: Basic Requirements: ．B.S. in analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, or a closely related scientific discipline. ．2+ years of experience with any of the following techniques: GC (Gas Chromatography), FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), and/or ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry). ．Fluent in English ．Strong verbal and communication skills and ability to successfully collaborate in a global matrix organization. ．Willingness to work across time zones. ．Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a diverse team. Preferred Qualifications: ．M.S. in chemistry or chemical engineering (or related field) with 5+ years of experience with GC, FTIR, and/or ICP-MS. ．Experience with the design and setup of in-line analytical systems and methods. ．Experience handling and analyzing reactive, corrosive, and/or toxic gases. ．Demonstrated ability to utilize GC, FTIR, CRDS (Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy), and/or ICP-MS to solve complex problems. ．Experience in developing and validating analytical methods. ．Strong understanding of analytical chemistry concepts and instrumentation. ．Knowledge of statistical design of experiments, gauge R&R studies, and statistical software packages (e.g., JMP, Minitab). ．Creative self-starter with initiative to tackle problems. ．Demonstrated ability to establish trustful relationships with colleagues. ．Effective presentation and technical writing skills. ．Experience preparing technical, customer-facing documents.

As an RD Process Engineer, you'll be responsible for enhancing and sustaining PCB and IC Substrate Desmear & Eless Cu plating processes and equipment. Your job will involve working closely with cross-functional teams including RD Chemists to resolve technical challenges from SVM to HVM, promote process/equipment capability to customers, and adopt best-known practices and/or explore new technologies for internal upgrades. • Collaborate with RD Chemist and other internal resources to maximize the performance of new products through equipment upgrades, new materials implementation, and processing optimization. • Explore new equipment technology through patent landscape analysis and market survey with logical experiment design, data analysis, and result interpretation. • Lead daily operation of pilot lab members and coordinate interdisciplinary teams to execute projects • Occasionally travel to customer sites in Asia and in the US for on-site tests and ramp-up of new and existing products and continuously improvement projects. Education & Experience: • Bachelor degree or above, major in Material Science & Engineering/ Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering • Must have 5 to 12 years of working experience of Desmear & Eless Cu process in PCB industry. • Have horizontal Desmear & Eless Cu line or 3-in-1 line equipment expertise is a plus Desired Skills: • Proficient in statistical data analysis using Excel, JMP, or Minitab. • Six Sigma and DMAIC project management skills. • Experienced in project management from start to finish. • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and organizational/planning skills for managing responsibilities and interacting with various functions across the site/business. • Effective priority setting and organizational management.
