Process Engineer
As a Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing the equipment, systems, and methods used in our facilities to transform technical documentation into final products. In addition to optimizing production processes, you will be responsible for creating and implementing training materials to ensure competence and proficiency among our team. This position requires a strong technical background, analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Process Analysis, Development, and Optimization:
• Analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and output.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
• Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and risk assessments for new and existing processes.
• Implement and drive continuous improvement principles and methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
Equipment Selection and Oversight:
• Select and specify equipment, machinery, and tools needed for production processes.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to evaluate new technologies and equipment upgrades.
Training Material Development:
• Develop training programs to enhance organizational capabilities, including comprehensive training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
• Conduct training sessions for engineers, operators, technicians, and other personnel on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Ensure thorough documentation of processes accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate with Quality teams to establish quality control measures and specifications.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive improvement.
• Monitor and analyze production data to ensure product quality and consistency.
System Implementation and Integration:
• Implement process control systems, automation solutions, and data acquisition tools.
• Integrate new technologies and systems into existing manufacturing processes.
• Analyze data and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of operational processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to production, engineering, procurement, and supply chain, to support operational goals and initiatives.
• Share insights, drive collective problem-solving efforts, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in packaging, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Effective communication skills with proficiency in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels of the organization.
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for innovation and learning.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to develop training materials, conduct training sessions, and evaluate competency.
• Prior experience in the semiconductor industry and/or cleanroom environment is advantageous.
• Certification or experience with Six Sigma, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or other quality management systems is a plus.
