We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead complex IT projects from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while aligning with business goals.
THE ROLE:
Lead and manage the full project lifecycle of large-scale IT initiatives (e.g., infrastructure upgrades, software deployments, ERP implementations, cloud migrations)
Transferring customer requirements into new and existing IT processes and solution concepts and providing technical support with specialist departments and partners
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with stakeholders
Development of complex program and project plans incl. visualization of process flows
IT sourcing: creating business cases for “make or buy” decisions
Process and tool management, work planning & tracking
Program and project controlling and reporting, project budget planning, staffing and controlling
Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
Management of internal and, if necessary, external project participants and service providers
You will support the design of the IT strategy and the digital roadmap
Strong communications capabilities and ensure timely communication with stakeholders, including regular status reports
Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
SKILLS:
Master's degree or diploma in (business) informatics or adequate professional training
8+ years of experience in managing IT programs and projects
Experience with consolidation and cloud projects
Interdisciplinary management experience (direct management experience desirable)
Experience in IT architecture, IT consulting and agile/hybrid project management
PM certification as PMI PMP (or other PM method) an advantage
In-depth business knowledge for the development of business cases, calculations and economic evaluations
If possible, experience in international companies and international projects
You are a strong communicator and have very good analytical and solution-oriented thinking skills as well as a confident manner in dealing with different stakeholders
You are curious about new areas of work and are willing to actively change and shape existing systems
Job Description:
- Manage the schedules, resources, and deliverables of multiple BMC projects belonging to Insyde's Supervyse OPF BMC program by actively cooperating with BMC engineering managers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including BMC teams, BIOS teams, product managers, and project managers.
- Ensure alignment of project objectives with company goals and customer expectations.
- Regularly communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and upper management. Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
2. Proficiency in Microsoft office applications and Google Workplace
3. Ability to multi-task and work independently to manage various program elements simultaneously
4. Self-motivated and attention to details.
5. Capacity to manage high stress situations.
6. Experience in program or project management or testing for consumer electronic products in ODM/OEM will be a plus.
7. Knowledge in BMC firmware will be a plus.
