About the Role
You will:
• Lead the Crop Protection Business Planning team consisting of Financial and Operational Business Planners.
• Act as financial and operational planner, advisor, challenger and business partner to the Local Business Manager (LBM) and the local management team in all matters of financial relevance including daily business steering and projects/initiatives.
• Owner of the local demand planning & review process.
How You Will Do It
• Assume ownership for the demand planning & review process. Ensure demand adequately takes into consideration opportunities and risks. Balance between realizing sales potential and managing inventory risks.
• Drive constant improvement of demand planning accuracy.
• Ensure depletion plans for excess inventories are developed and implemented in a timely manner.
• Support value based decision making throughout the organization targeting sustainable optimization of absolute Market Performance.
• Perform financial evaluations for projects (e.g. business models, go-to-market approach, portfolio management) and provide recommendations.
• Develop mid-to long-term financial targets. Support LBM steering business towards mid-term targets and track achievement.
• Drive operational excellence projects. Initiate processes improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in business planning and beyond.
• Establish business planning teams as central business function and support constant development of required skillset of team members.
What We Look For
• Bachelor's Degree or above in Finance / Accounting
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the area of Controlling and/or Supply Chain
• Advanced finance and accounting skills, proficiency in interpretation and analysis of financial reports
• Good command of listening, speaking, reading and writing in English
• Good communication skills and team player
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications
