Requirements: • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, Imaging Science, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in optical system design, testing, and manufacturing, preferably for imaging products (e.g., drones, cameras, mobile devices, AR/VR). • Deep understanding of lens design, camera module integration, optical tolerancing, and sensor alignment. • Hands-on experience with Zemax, Code V, LightTools, or equivalent optical simulation tools. • Familiar with MTF, SFR, distortion, chromatic aberration, and other key imaging metrics. • Experience working with CMs or ODMs in Asia on high-precision optical assemblies. • Strong understanding of optical manufacturing processes, from prototype to mass production. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug optical and image quality issues in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across disciplines and time zones.
