Service sales specialist is an important role in Anton Paar to ensure long-term service revenue growth and momentum. In this role, you will promote service products to fulfill customer needs and consult customers in regards to service offers including preventive maintenance, warranty extensions, calibrations, trainings and even other customized service product.
Essential functions and general responsibility:
• Forecast and monitor service revenue and service coverage rate on quarterly / yearly basis as required
• Contacts customers proactively to promote warranty extensions, preventive maintenance and other service products
• Consults customers in regards to service offers
• Manages ‘Auto-Tasks’ for START service sales
• Determines appropriate pricing, including discount levels based upon guidelines provided by the service manager
• Creates, manages and checks quotes and service contracts
• Prepares service price quotes, orders, delivery notes, and invoices
• Answers customer questions (via email and telephone) about service status and other related topics
• Supports service marketing activities to promote service
• Supports materials management for maintenance service
• Maintains department files and records
• Monitoring of data quality in CRM
• Generally, supporting Service people in all the processes, but NOT taking care of technical issues.
• Substituting each other within in the country / or within the region.
• Answering the phone and forwarding information to Service.
• Checking the general mail boxes (service) to take care of incoming e-mails.
• Facility as well as fleet management and IT coordination to the Helpdesk at the head office.
• In case the employee is on vacation or not in the office, the telephone needs to be handled by the local colleagues. In regards to SAP processes, the Administration will take care of the daily business.
Your profile:
• Associates degree in business or 2 years of experience in an sales role
• Experience for the scientific instrument business will be a plus
• Two or more years in customer facing role, exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent time management, prioritizing, and organizational skills are essential for all Service Sales Specialists
• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in using MS office and ERP/CRM systems
• Good communication in English
• A valid drivers license
