Supervision on Manufacturing Excellence reports and improvement projects planning and implementation to support the department head for overall departmental management.
• Lead and coordinate process improvement projects and activities in the factory
• To support and drive LEAN organization transformation and continuous improvement culture at ITTM for the activities in ITTM to improve factory performance.
• Support to the department manager for the routine tasks maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To support the factory for related to MBU/5S/Kaizen routine and non-routine activities from planning to execution in the daily tasks by providing the necessary knowledge, tools, and etc to drive the continuous improvement activity in the factory wide. The activities described below are considered as the major responsibilities.
Sustain the project (i.e. MBU/5S/Kaizen) results
• To set up the system on monitoring and provide the needed support to all departments to sustain MBU result to all MBU teams
• To set up the system on monitoring project (like, MBU/FDP) result to be sustained, executed on schedule, and meet the factory requirement
Support to department manager to lead and plan project activity
• To support the manager to lead, plan, and coordinate the project activities to other departments to drive the project to achieve the target.
Execute site project activity
• To follow the site project activity audit plans and provide the related templates/tools to smooth the activities in the factory wide.
• To support MDTs in all MBUs activities
Support site factory to promote the continuous improvement
• To work with the Global Manufacturing Excellence management team and factory leadership team to create continuous improvement culture in ITTM
• To promote CI & LEAN culture, role modelling LEAN behaviours and drive these through the organisation
• To provide the training, coaching, and guidance to LEAN implementation teams and facilitate the continuous improvement activities among ITTM departments
• To coordinate the BOP (better operation practice) activities installation and implementation with Production, Technician, and related department.
• To coach the site leadership teams to develop the shop-floor on continuous improvement culture and empowered the front line on the engagement.
• To ensure CI tools and methodologies are used to drive the factory result and make sure all the outcomes are being sustained or improved by the site business strategy
• To lead Gamba walk activity to drive the better performance and engagement in the shop floor areas.
• To lead Kaizen activity to drive the better performance in the shop floor and office areas.
• To co-work with HR to define the suitable trainings and development programs to support CI activities in the production floor.
• To look for the best practices internally or externally ITG group for benchmarking to drive continuous improvement activities
• Be responsible to lead the introducing and application of manufacturing best practice in ITTM including but not limited to the ITG operational excellence program and also provide the support to other factories in APA region.
• Be responsible to provide the necessary supports to region on Lean and MBU.
Reporting and Performance Analysis
• To support the department manager for monthly KPI reports
• To support the department manager for region project for planning and coordination.
Capability Upweighted
• To drive Green Belt(6 sigma) training program on site for people capability enhancement.
Other department issues
• Planning, budget setting, and expense monitor support to the department head
• ISO Systems support on training deliver, process modification and etc to meet the system requirement
• Be flexible, and willing to take additional assignments due to business requirement
