Key Responsibilities
Bilingual Translation & Liaison
• Translate technical specifications, user stories, meeting notes, and status reports
between Mandarin and English.
• Attend Taiwan-team meetings (Mandarin), distill action items, and relay them in clear English to the India team; vice versa for requirements or feedback.
• Prepare bilingual documentation (e.g., SRS, BRD, API contracts, test plans) ensuring semantic accuracy on both sides.
Stakeholder Communication & Negotiation
• Lead joint discussions involving Taiwan engineers, India developers, product owners, and external vendors—switching fluidly between Mandarin and English.
• Negotiate scope, timelines, and resources while ensuring both teams’ concerns are understood and addressed.
Requirement Gathering & Documentation
• Conduct bilingual requirement-gathering workshops: question stakeholders in both languages, compile inputs, and produce a unified requirement document.
• Ensure clarity on technical constraints—e.g., cloud infra details, database schemas, security policies—by validating translated content with technical leads.
Required Skills & Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
•Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technical role within a software development environment. Hands-on coding background (e.g., Java, Node.js, Python, Go) is a plus.
•Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), object-oriented design principles, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
•Native or near‐native fluency in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, speaking).
•Full professional proficiency in English (business writing, presentations, oral communication).
•Proven track record delivering medium to large‐scale software projects on time and within budget.
•Strong proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodology; Competency in project planning tools.
Soft Skills
•Exceptional communication skills: can articulate technical concepts to non‐technical stakeholders and vice versa.
•Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple concurrent projects.
•Problem-solving mindset: able to break down complex technical issues and drive consensus on solutions.
