AND we are now looking to fill a starting role in Sales, in a fast-paced start-up environment. The SDR team plays a critical role in driving our “outbound” growth by identifying prospective customers, sparking their interest, and booking qualified appointments with Account Executives.
About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead our growing team of six Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). The SDR team plays a critical role in driving our “outbound” growth by identifying prospective customers, sparking their interest, and booking qualified appointments with Account Executives.
As the Inside Sales Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Sales and serve as a player-coach-supporting your team’s performance while also collaborating with senior leadership to refine our go-to-market strategy. You’ll be responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, and daily team operations.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and who is passionate about developing early-career sales talent.
Key Responsibilities
● Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and mentor a team of six SDRs, providing ongoing feedback and structured development plans.
● Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance against key metrics (e.g., calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates) and drive continuous improvement.
● Sales Process Optimization: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to refine outreach strategies, messaging, and workflows that maximize appointment setting and pipeline contribution.
● Training & Onboarding: Design and deliver onboarding and continuous training programs to ensure SDRs are equipped to succeed.
● Reporting & Insights: Maintain clear reporting on team activities and outcomes. Use data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Sales Leadership to ensure alignment across the funnel.
● Executive Communication: Regularly engage with senior leadership to share results, insights, and strategic recommendations.
Requirement
● Experience: 5+ years in sales or business development, including at least 2 years in a people management role. Experience managing SDRs or inside sales teams preferred.
● Coaching Ability: Demonstrated success developing junior team members into high performers.
● Communication Skills: Able to effectively communicate up, down, and across the organization. Strong executive presence.
● Metrics-Driven: Deep understanding of pipeline generation KPIs and sales metrics.
● Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with modern sales tech stack (HubSpot, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Calendly).
● Adaptability: Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
● Excellent communication skills in English & Mandarin
Other Experience Preferred
● Experience in B2B Service, SaaS or technology sales
● Prior success in quota-carrying sales roles
● Familiarity with SPICED, Challenger, or similar sales methodologies
