Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1. Ensure the organization, scheduling, implementation and monitoring of project RAMS and V&V activities, supporting the identification of competencies required to perform such activities, requesting adequate RAMS staffing to the relevant functional managers.
2. Assist the project RAMS team for the achievement of project safety and reliability requirements.
3. Contribute to the following activities and communicate the relevant information to the PM
4. Workload management with periodic workload updates and analysis of deviations.
5. Critical path management and alignment of RAMS schedule with project master schedule, in order to avoid unplanned interruption of activities in RAMS stream.
6. Proactive risk management for early detection of cost, schedule, technical and resource issues and proposal of recovery plans.
7. Ensure the delivery of RAMS documentation on the project.
8. Ensure the provision of schedule and cost constrains to relevant Product, Signalling and System RAMS Engineers
Education / Qualifications:
· Engineering Degree or Equivalent Technical Background
Languages:
· English (spoken and written) good.

Job description:
Hitachi is looking for one marine coordinator to join the Taiwan Power Company Offshore Windfarm Project. Marine coordinator shall be responsible to following, but not limited to:
• General marine coordination activities. Basically, 4-day-work/4-day-off work schedule but with exceptions. 24-hour operation and night shifts are required.) Taking responsibility in all marine coordination tasks
• Helping the team understand performance targets and goals
• Managing work progress, Scheduling work hours and shifts
• Providing reports and activity updates to the managers
• Meeting with O&M and Offshore Retrofit Team (ORT), draw up 3 days look ahead schedule
• Unwanted vessel report and push away
• CTV inspection (H&M, Exercise, safety equipment)

Main purpose of job
As a Technical Engineer, you will undertake all technical activities relating to Howden range of turbo machine for process gas and ventilation application. You will provide technical support to project manager in the formulation of technical for rotatory heater, fan and compressor, as well as offer support and advice to sales proposals, operations, quality and aftermarket areas of the business.
Accountabilities
• Communicate any identified technical issues to appropriate project/functional manager and offer practical solutions where available.
• Design innovative technical solutions within agreed timeframes that adhere to Howden standards and meet customer requirements.
• Carry out necessary mechanical design calculations to enable initial required project information to be generated for issue to customer for review.
• Provide mechanical design engineering support to design draughtsman and other project team functional disciplines throughout detailed design project phase
• Plan and organize own workload to ensure timely availability of purchasing/manufacturing data/drawings
• Actively participate in essential design and safety reviews to ensure fitness of purpose of Howden products including consideration for operability, reliability, maintainability, etc. Additionally use such reviews to identify potential improvements of product ideas, resources and design processes.
• Lead 3D modelling activities and participate in customer 3D model reviews as required, ensuring that internal processes are standardized and developed as necessary.
• Evaluate and provide impartial technical reviews of sub-vendor bids to assist procurement activity.
• Ensure all work undertaken considers commercial and financial implications of task from a business perspective
• Ability to generate/modify Bills of Material and specifications in line with company standards.
• Ability to check and approve drawings, BoM's etc.
• Provide technical support to shop floor regarding interpretation of drawings or assemblies.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives supporting cost reduction, efficiency, delivery and Quality improvements
• Use Continuous Improvement methodologies to promote Built in Engineering Quality concepts into Standard work. Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Commercial and Procurement teams to drive improved manufacturing and supply chain performance and early defect detection
