1. IT Infrastructure Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global IT infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals, including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless), server infrastructure (physical and virtual), storage solutions, and data center operations.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met for all infrastructure-related services.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies to optimize infrastructure performance, cost-efficiency, and business agility.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for all critical IT systems and data.
- Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, optimizing spending while ensuring necessary resources are available.
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Oversee asset management for all IT infrastructure components.
2.IT Security Leadership:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive global IT security program, including policies, procedures, and best practices, aligned with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Lead the incident response team, developing and testing incident response plans to effectively address security breaches and minimize impact.
- Manage vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Oversee identity and access management (IAM) strategies, including single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Implement and manage security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Promote a strong cybersecurity culture through employee training and awareness programs.
3.Team Leadership & Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT infrastructure and security professionals.
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to direct reports and the broader IT team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
- Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage resource allocation and project prioritization within the infrastructure and security teams.
4.Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with other IT leaders, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to understand business needs and deliver IT solutions that support strategic objectives.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
- Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on all matters related to IT infrastructure and security.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
