Aim of Role
- Responsible for the creative production and support of the Lush brand strategy in the Greater China market.
- Working in partnership with GC's brand team to develop impactful artworks and assets collaboratively to achieve the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Media Production
- Lead the monthly retail shop window projects, creating impactful artwork that can drive footfall into our stores and help develop a meaningful customer journey inside the store.
- Work with the sales, brand and marketing teams to create creative ideas and engaging multimedia content and assets for retail stores, websites, social media, and related platforms in the Greater China region.
- Develop shooting plans, written outlines and clear scripts for shooting projects.
- Lead multimedia projects and engage in the entire shooting process throughout all phases, from pre-production planning, preparations, shooting and post-production editing.
- Perform outdoor/indoor filming and photo-shooting, including product shooting, lifestyle shooting, event shooting, brand interviews and etc.
- Responsible for video asset management, ensuring all the assets and project files are appropriately uploaded, organized and archived.
Marketing and Brand Event Support
- Spearhead and manage creative strategy for all design projects with the rest of the team members, projects including PR asset creation, event production, digital and social content development, ethical campaigns, printing or publication projects and other marketing activities.
- Contribute ideas for brand marketing events and review the impact of these design works.
- Pitch the creative brief for each design project effectively and take on feedback to refine the project scope.
- Basic understanding of Lush Visual Merchandising Guidelines and the ability to contribute to store and pop-up displays.
- Work closely with the global and regional designers to develop, update and manage visual/style guidelines for brand consistency.
Creative Leadership and Budget Management
- Lead creative brainstorming and concept development for all brand communication channels to ensure it meets the business goals.
- Work seamlessly with regional team members, ensure collaborative work being demonstrated in high-quality deliverables, including product label designs, retail and window assets, brand and PR materials, digital and social content, event production and multimedia projects.
- Manage the budget of design discipline and contribute to the whole brand communications budget.
- To support the company on all design elements, including quotation, negotiation with vendors, budget, and production for the internal and external company events, activities and projects.
- To work on any ad-hoc projects required by the senior management.
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to have the following attributes
- Degree/Higher Diploma holder in Multimedia Design or related discipline.
- Familiar with Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and other creative tools.
- Skilled and experienced in video editing and photography, with capabilities in motion graphics.
- A creative mind with the ability to reflect on projects from both a practical and financial viewpoint.
- Well organized, mature, highly responsible and independent.
- Strong team collaboration and communication.
- Great writing skills in both English & Chinese.
- Minimum 5 years of design work experience preferred.
