Objectives of this role
• Report to President and collaborate with business teams to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products
• Support Sales team to achieve business goals by identifying revenue opportunities among established clients and by capturing new accounts
• Complete marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results
Responsibilities
• Identify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and expenditures
• Lead development of marketing strategy by working closely with product line managers, sales managers, distribution partners, alliance partners, journalists, and investors to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our products and services
• Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations
• Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales
• Conduct meetings regularly with marketers to review campaign leads, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions, and provide training to ensure team is consistently performing above standard
• Maintains marketing staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
• Develops marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
Required skills and qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or business administration
• 10+ years of experience in marketing manager roles, proven record in high tech marketing will be a plus
• Good command of English, capable of hosting cross-region meetings and presentation in English
• Excellent leadership, people management, interpersonal communication, and decision-making skills
• Experience in product marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, event marketing, and public relations
• Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
