Position Summary
The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist supports strategically planning and is responsible for executing both external and employee communications programs aligned with corporate and regional objectives. This includes project management, resources coordination and event execution. The scope of responsibility covers supporting brand marketing, public relations, digital media operations, industry engagements, ESG initiatives, and community activities.
As a member of the Marketing Communications team, the desired candidate will work closely with the Marketing Communications Manager, regional executives, internal & external stakeholders, various industry partners, agencies and the media counterparts. Lam Research Taiwan is seeking an organized team-player who is capable of working independently and adapting efficiently to a fast-paced work environment in order to maximize communications results and impact.
External (50%): Assist to generate creative and effective marketing communications and branding strategies align with business objectives and execute the plans by translating them into impactful campaigns.
-Support the development of overall regional communications plan, marketing strategy, and PR practice to continuously build strong brand presence and maximize the impact of brand campaign.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, key media outlets, journalists, and industry experts to secure positive media coverage and generate brand awareness.
-Monitor and analyze media coverage, track brand sentiment, and provide regular reports on the effectiveness and impact of branding and PR initiatives.
-Assist translation, localization, proofreading or developing content for press release/media advisory distribution, article placement and social media posting.
-Implement global marketing communications programs and campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support the company’s business goals.
-Coordinate domestic industry tradeshows, conferences, and exhibitions to engage with industry players and increase company brand visibility.
-Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all communication channels, including social media, blog, website, ads, and employee communications.
-Partner with local HR to implement awareness and branding activities to attract potential talents, as well as to provide marketing communications support and guidance for effective talent acquisition and retention.
Internal (30%): Develop and implement employee communications and engagement plans that engage, align, and inspire employees with Lam’s vision and business strategy.
-Serve as a trusted partner providing support on how to inform, engage, and mobilize our people.
-Plan, write, and edit content for a variety of employee communications programs and delivering key messages to all employees.
-Collaborate with team members regarding the design, content strategy, curation and maintenance of The Point, Corporate SharePoint sites, Viva Engage, Benevity, and other channels.
-Support the scheduling and logistics of employee engagement events, such as the regional all-employees meeting.
-Support the Marketing Communications team in managing workflows for financial process, legal approval, reporting, and collaboration with other internal groups as needed.
ESG/Community (20%): Support charitable initiatives by liaising with our social partners and maintaining disciplined tracking of our projects and contribution.
-Support the company’s ESG framework by leveraging employee volunteer activities.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement community relations initiatives and employee volunteering programs.
People Management
-Experience in managing agency partners to accomplish assigned programs effectively.
-Experience in leading/supporting cross-functional teams to conduct internal projects flawlessly.
