Summary:
The Onsite Rack Integration Senior Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the installation,
configuration, and maintenance of server racks at various client sites in the APAC region. They work
closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and ensure that the installation process
runs smoothly, on schedule, and within budget. The Senior Manager also manages a team of technicians
and engineers who perform the actual installation and maintenance work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Manage and oversee the installation, configuration, and
maintenance of server racks at client sites.
2. Work closely with clients to understand their technical
requirements and ensure that the
installation process runs smoothly, on schedule, and within
budget.
3. Manage a team of technicians and engineers who perform the
actual installation and maintenance work.
4.Train and mentor team members, providing guidance on best
practices and troubleshooting techniques.
5. Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety
regulations and company policies.
6.Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to
clients and internal stakeholders.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other key
stakeholders.
8. Conduct site visits and assessments to determine feasibility
and identify potential issues that may impact the installation
process.
9. Oversee the procurement of necessary equipment and supplies
for each project.
10.Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure that projects
are completed on time and within budget.
11.Review and approve installation plans, schematics, and
diagrams.
12.Manage team members and allocate resources for each
project.
13.Perform quality assurance checks on completed work.
14.Address and resolve any issues that arise during installation or
maintenance.
16.Document all work performed, including any changes made to
equipment or configurations.
17. Conduct regular training sessions to ensure that team
members are up-to-date on the latest industry trends and
best practices.
18.Monitor industry trends and advancements in server rack
technology, and make recommendations for improvements to
installation and maintenance processes.
19.Provide technical support to clients as needed, including
troubleshooting and issue resolution.
