Position Title: IT Manager
Reporting to: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead and manage the information department at our manufacturing facility. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the IT personnel, managing maintenance, and leading the team in upgrading the facility's IT infrastructure. This includes ensuring data security and providing strategic guidance for the facility's technological initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and technical skills, the ability to adapt to evolving technologies, a proactive and innovative mindset, and effective communication and collaboration with various departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
• Lead, motivate, and guide the IT team to achieve regional department goals and tasks.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and supervise project management.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
2. Infrastructure Management:
• Supervise the IT infrastructure of the manufacturing facility, including servers, networks, and hardware.
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
3. Data Security:
• Develop and implement robust data security policies and procedures to protect company information.
• Stay current on network security threats and implement measures to reduce risks.
4. Budget Management:
• Develop and manage the IT budget for the facility, ensuring effective resource utilization.
5. Strategic Planning:
• Collaborate with corporate management to align IT strategy with overall organizational goals.
6. Project Management:
• Plan and oversee IT projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
7. User Support:
• Provide technical support to end-users, swiftly resolving IT issues.
• Implement user training programs to enhance digital literacy.
8. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws.
• Maintain documentation and records for audit purposes.
