[General Responsibilities]
1. Develop and implement the company's legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
2. Analyze and interpret legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal clauses, and provide legal advice for company decisions.
3. Monitor regulatory changes to ensure the company's compliance with legal and industry standards and adjust business practices promptly.
4. Handle legal litigation matters, including participating in investigations, preparing court documents, and representing the company in court.
5. Assist in developing training programs to provide legal awareness and compliance training for employees.
6. Collaborate with external legal advisors and law firms to handle legal matters requiring external support for the company.
7. Manage and supervise the drafting, reviewing, and execution process of contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and protect the company's interests.
8. Strategic Direction: Provide leadership in defining the legal strategies and objectives aligned with the organization's overall goals and mission.
9. Team Management: Lead and manage the legal team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
10. Decision-making support: Provide legal advice that align with the company's objectives with the executive team and other stakeholders on legal matters.
11. Risk Management: Identify and assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
12. Compliance Oversight: Oversee the company's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
[Job Requirement]
1. Bachelor of Laws, JD, or LL.M.
2. 5 years experience as a legal supervisor or manager
3. Proven experience in corporate law and legal management.
4. Active TW or US bar membership is a plus.
5. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
