Position Overview
Diebold Nixdorf is a leading global developer and manufacturer of retail and banking equipment. We are currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer. You would be expected to perform installation and minor repairs on all Diebold Nixdorf products and services. This includes installing, troubleshooting, maintaining the hardware and software platform based on ATM configurations that customers ordered.
This position may require the use of basic hand tools, limited parts and a general understanding of PC, PC peripherals and network connectivity. Install, debug and provide technical maintenance for hardware and software of products and components.
You are responsible for
• Preparing the hardware installation or retrofitting based on the ATM configurations, which Banking customers had ordered
• Installing platform software which released by Diebold Nixdorf, and on top of that we put the Application which customized by our local Professional Service SW developer.
• During the ATM preparation (staging), one should have fundamental troubleshooting capabilities and identify the root cause of it
• Filing and Recording what types of ATM system one had done in the stage, and the quantity of it.
• Report immediately to supervisor if he or she found difficulties or problems during the staging processes.
Qualifications/ Criteria
• Open to Fresh Graduates
• 6 months - 2 years of technical service experience.
• Successfully completed education in IT- or mechatronic/electronic-related profession.
• PC hardware components installation/detaching including motherboard, CPU, Memory, hard drive…etc.
• Sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional presence and work in team environment.
