Finance and Office Manager
We are looking for a rockstar Finance and Office Manager who is excited to oversee the day-to-day finances and operations in our Taiwan office. We are looking for a meticulous professional to lead our systems and processes and empowering our team to perform at the highest levels. You will report to the General Manager, work closely with our group CFO, and collaborate together with cross-function teams.
In this role, you will pivot between both financial and operational responsibilities. You will provide accurate, effective, and timely financial reporting and analysis for executive strategic decision making. You will also ensure that staff are equipped with the right tools and resources to focus on getting the job done. [Finance & Accounting]
• Maintain the Company's accounting records in accordance with group corporate policies, regulatory and general accepted accounting principles.
• Cashflow Management: Active communicating with the CFO on the company’s cash position through financial forecasting and projections.
• Participate business planning processes: P&L strategic reviews, budgets, rolling forecasts and monthly performance reporting. Support Business team in achieving financial and strategic targets.
• *Monitor tax compliance obligations and arrange for timely preparation of VAT, withholding tax and other local tax filings
• Monitor revenues and expenses: Evaluation of financial data and preparation of statutory and taxation reports.
• Support local auditors and provide information for annual financial and corporate income tax audits
• Act as primary contact to tax office and assist in coordination and preparation of information in timely manner
• Ensure timely communication of local law changes, tax reforms, risks and opportunities with senior management and headquarters when necessary
[Human Resources & Payroll Management]
Responsible for all Human Resources activities, including but not limited to;
• Manage HR processes - hiring, remuneration, leaves, compliance, labor laws/regulations
• Administer monthly payroll, statutory pension and insurance
• Working closely with senior management on employee performance review, compensation schemes
• Devising training and development plans of staff
[General Administration]
• Oversee and execute administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth operations
• Coordinate office communications, including important office announcements, maintain calendar of key dates, and key event reminders
• Help integrate new employees with necessary equipment, information, and company procedures and policies
• Proactively research and negotiate to ensure cost efficiency for all goods and services
• Manage ordering, inventory and budget of office supplies and equipment
• Nurturing Ansett office culture through planning and executing internal and external events as appropriate
• Responsive to changes and unexpected events: Being resourceful in handling unexpected turn of events – A typical feature of the aviation industry
• Embodying the attitude that no task is too small if it aids in the improvement of the company and morale
