Key Tasks:
PMO (Project Management Officer)
• Collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop
projects.
• Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members
are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
• Continuously evaluating and governing projects, especially critical ones, to
ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets (i.e., in terms
of start-up GP performance), and meeting deadlines.
Project Management / Delivery
• Draft project plans to deliver projects to achieve required quality standard, on
time and on budget.
• Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project
lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
• Coordinate project schedules by compiling tasks, costs, timescales, and resource
requirement lists from key project participants indicating start and completion
dates, responsibilities, and dependencies.
• Instruct and review the output of functional project team or individual project
managers.
• Report deviations on project expenditure to adhere to defined project budget.
• Track project milestones, report and update progress and performance against
the project plan.
• Recognize and resolve operational problems and minimize delays in the delivery
of projects.
• Execute project risk mitigation action plans to minimize projects risks.
• Understand business processes, identify opportunities/ solutions, and prioritize
projects according to relevant measurement criteria.
• Document scope changes and track approval by required parties to ensure
benefit realization.
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels
or stakeholders and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work
plan.
• Cultivate strong working relationships and communication skills with project
team members and corporate cross-functional partners.
