This post-sales engineer position is aliased with OURS, and will need to assist our client with the debugging and maintenance of their CAT (computer-aided translation) tool and system, ensuring work is done on time to keep the customer experience seamless, and interacting with a variety of stakeholders. Below please find the job description and the requirements for this position: Key Responsibilities: 1. Debug, resolve, or escalate issues related to the client's Connector stack, file filters, and the Okapi Framework. 2. Assist with resolving customer pre- and post-processing challenges, including localization file prep. 3. Collaborate with production teams to implement technology-enabled workflows and set up our client's Connectors and file filters. 4. Continuously improve and suggest improvements to internal and customer localization engineering processes. 5. Document customer configurations and playbooks for common operating procedures. 6. Facilitate a feedback loop between customer needs and the engineering team. 7. Collaborate with colleagues across the company as the point-of-contact for the localization engineering team. 8. Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for customer engineering tasks. Skills and Experience: 1. At least 3+ years of experience in a localization-engineering role 2. Understanding of XLIFF, TMX, TBX, and SRX formats (purpose, structure, specifications) 3. Familiarity with key localization terms (source, target, translation unit, etc.) 4. Knowledge of localization (l10n) and internationalization (i18n) best practices 5. Knowledge of common file formats (JSON, XML, HTML, CSV, PO, YAML, STRINGS, RESX, PROPERTIES) including syntax and escaping 6. Exposure to translation tools (TMX editors, alignment software, diffing software, OCR software) 7. Proficiency in RegEx for text processing tasks (pattern matching, extraction, manipulation) 8. Understanding of encoding standards and character sets 9. Familiarity with Okapi Framework (Rainbow, components, concepts) 10. Knowledge of localization platforms/technologies (CAT, TMS, TM, MT, LMS, CMS, LLM) 11. Coding skills (Python for scripting, Java for Okapi Framework) 12. Understanding of software development principles and APIs 13. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) 14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 15. Problem-solving skills and ability to analyze issues 16. Be comfortable with expressing thoughts and ideas in English 17. Should pass the technical test from the client
