Basic understanding of network architecture, protocols, subnetting, routing, and switching for effective management and maintenance of network infrastructure. 2. Familiarity with common operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux/Unix, to effectively manage servers and virtualization environments. 3. Basic understanding and management experience of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, including infrastructure, service models, and cost management. 4. Understanding of storage architectures and technologies including SAN, NAS, and the ability to implement effective backup and recovery strategies. 5. Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, to manage virtualized environments and optimize resource utilization. 6. Basic project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor infrastructure projects to ensure timely completion and achievement of objectives. 7. Effective leadership, task delegation, coordination, and communication skills to lead teams, collaborate with other departments, and stakeholders.
