Responsibilities:
• Involve in the application lifecycle management for software systems in a highly automated semiconductor manufacturing environment; develop, maintain, solve and support software systems for manufacturing semiconductors
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and make suggestions to resolve production and process issues
• Provide technical support to customers as needed for problem identification and resolution
• Deliver training, documentation, and support to end users on new tools and methodologies
• Participate in verifying of new software releases with all sites to ensure smooth release of changes to production
• Monitor system performance actively to identify abnormalities and develop capabilities to prevent unscheduled downtime
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, developers and infrastructure groups across all sites
• Communicate timely status to the customers, team and managers
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
• Developing and/or handling software applications
• Database technologies (such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle or similar products), and in performance and tuning for database products
• Linux, Unix, Windows and OpenShift environment
• Good knowledge in C#/C++ programming, Python and Perl script, with working knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL
• Knowledge in MES systems, and understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process will be an advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task and manage both individual and group tasks simultaneously, and to take initiative on system issues
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Willing to work in a dynamic team environment to achieve a common goal through effective collaboration.
• Willingness to work on flexible schedule, including 24/7 in day or night time, overtime and occasional weekends, as assigned
• Domestic travel will be required
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Industrial/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent programming experiences, certifications will be considered.
