We are seeking a Plant Director who will direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for Production, Maintenance, Quality, HR, Finance, IT and all other production-related activities within the site.
This position manages all employees in the plant and ensures the achievement of manufacturing-related objectives of cost, quality, delivery, safety, with a focus on customer satisfaction and promotion of the organization's core values.
The successful candidate will have strong organizational and planning experience as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIIITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to) :
• Plans and monitors both short and long-term budgets to ensure the plant meets the sites financial commitments.
• Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
• Execute the corporate's manufacturing strategy, prioritizing work as required and interacting with all the organization's departments to maintain and improve operations performance while building customer relationships.
• Analyze and lead resolution of manufacturing initiatives and core issues, participate in planning and recommendation of space, personnel, and equipment.
• Improve on-time deliveries of product while building customer relationships.
• Develops and maintains a productive work team by assisting in creating programs for hiring, training, and professional development of hourly and salaried staff.
• Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
• Ensure all legal requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state health and safety regulations are met.
