Summary: Cirque is looking for an experienced PCB layout technician/engineer with a deep knowledge of and hands on experience with Altium Designer. This position will be the Taiwan PCB Layout subject matter expert and will be responsible for training other engineers on PCB Layout and updated processes. Duties and Responsibilities: • Collaborate with various engineering functions on design activities and provide design solutions to solve product issues or meet customer requirements. o Represent Cirque when collaborating with the customer, providing technical and professional support. o Collaborate with customers on creating schematics for designs, relying on electrical engineering principles to update schematics. o Responsible for creating new designs by relying heavily on data sheets. • Rework designs as needed to accommodate changing customer requests or requirements • Research new processes or concepts as it relates to the PCB layout and design process • Place and route components ensuring all electrical and physical specifications are met • Develop and generate drawings and documentation to facilitate PCB layout process • Evaluate the quality of the schematic design and support schematic capture for conversion to layout • Assist other PCB Layout Engineers in resolution of critical design problems, providing training on Altium and best layout design practices • Perform board-level circuit design, schematic entry, and components research and selection • Conduct design feasibility studies to evaluate the PCB design goals for cost, manufacturing, and system performance. Summary: Cirque is looking to add a Manager, Engineering – Asia (ME, A) to our growing team. The ME, A will play a critical role leading and developing the current team member consisting of hardware, firmware, field applications, field support, and quality lab engineers located in Asia. The ME, A role is critical to facilitating communication and collaboration between the US and Asia teams.
