1. Perform 2D drawings and 3D modeling of module design and give recommendations on layout optimization based on performance requirements. 2. Using FEM simulation tools to perform analysis to meet the electrical, mechanical, thermal, reliability, cost and customer's requirements 3. Comparison from chip, package and subsystem level characterization, data analysis, qualification, failure analysis, root cause analysis and benchmarking 4. Develop and standardize simulation methodologies, improve process efficiency by automation and validate models with measurement results. MUST 1. Master's Degree in Mechanical, or another related field of Engineering above 2 years working experience 2. Structured way of thinking and working with ability to identify problems and find appropriate solutions 3. Experience in using CAD tools (AutoCAD/Solidworks/ProE/CATIA..etc) or FEM tools (COMSOL or ANSYS..etc). Nice to have 1. Experience with IC, power packaging and power module design and simulation 2. Knowledge and experience of power device (ex: Si IGBT/MOSFET/SiC MOSFET) 3. Language skills: good reading/writing/speaking skills in Mandarin and English 4. Experience in improving reliability, yield, cost, performance, FMEA and AEC-Q101/AQG 324.

• Conceptualize, plan, and execute the design and development of cooling solutions for server and workstation platforms • Validate thermal compliance of systems and components with regards to industry standards • Thermal measurements and analysis of cooling systems and components • Summarize and present lab results to engineering teams, vendors, and customers • Investigate and identify new techniques to advance thermal developments and validations • Collaborate with motherboard, mechanical, and server teams for system designs and environmental tests • Interface with contract vendors for product developments and improvement recommendations

本職缺欲招募在熱流領域之專才,設法挑戰目前散熱技術上的瓶頸,設法找出新的散熱技術應用,為產品未來發展做更多的準備,此外,公司開發中的儀器/設備也會需要協助導入散熱對策以達到產品需求。 主要任務與工作職掌如下: 1. 負責熱流模擬分析與新技術研發 2. 硬體/機構/ID/PM等其他單位的設計溝通協調 3. 樣品製作與測試階段的模擬驗證

Summary: We demand senior thermal engineers to develop high TDP server with high level air and liquid cooling solutions. 1. Air cooling for high TDP (>1000W ) capacity demand 2. Direct to chip Liquid cooling rack level solution expert 3. Immersion cooling integration expert for AI server 4. HVAC Expert, with design / arrangement capability for data center Develop air cooling and liquid cooling solutions on the same platform to meet the requirement of various customers. Engineers should have ability to integrate air-cooled and liquid-cooled solutions, have good CFD skills to estimate hot spot location, have effective communication skills to engage with customer earlier, meet current / future requirements and lead thermal SPEC in the market. These senior thermal engineers will design a dedicated fan control table for liquid cooling to achieve optimized energy efficiency. Must have the ability to plan experiments for this job role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Execute thermal design of liquid cooling solutions. 2. Communicate with internal and external department to solve issues and make sure can meet target on time - Capable to find out adequate resource & solutions to deliver fastest response to customers - Excellent teamwork and communication (verbal and writing) skills - Show initiatives and has strong drive for customer satisfaction - Systematically & logically thinking and do support management 3. Collaborate with motherboard, chassis, power supply, and system teams to optimize system layout and component placement; 3. Validate thermal compliance of systems and components with regards to industry standards; 4. Summarize and present thermal/cooling technical data and/or test reports to engineering teams, vendors, and customers; 5. Investigate and identify new techniques to advance cooling schemes and thermal management; 6. Interface with contract manufacturers and vendors for cooling solution development and improvement; 7. Provide thermal/cooling technical supports from component level to rack level.

Thermal dissipation for CFD and coupling-dimensional domains simulation for Joule heat or electromigration / electrophoresis pathfinding. 4. PCB / Substrate / Package physical modeling and simulation optimization for reliability quality.
