【Job summary】
Medical Informatics Scientist (MIS) is playing a crucial role in conducting comprehensive genomic data analysis, facilitating the generation of clinical reports, engaging in translational research, interacting with regulatory specialists, contributing to R&D and In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) study analyses, and supporting business development initiatives.
【Responsibilities and Duties】
1. Analyze, process, and interpret complex genomic data using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology.
2. Create detailed clinical reports offering therapeutic recommendations, and liaise with ordering physicians as required.
3. Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the ACT Genomics precision oncology knowledge database, utilizing established guidelines, systematic literature reviews, and various resources.
4. Spearhead and oversee R&D and collaborative research endeavors, aligning with organizational objectives.
5. Collaborate closely with bioinformatics teams to refine and innovate pipeline, algorithmic, and automation strategies, aiming to optimize clinical report accuracy and genomic data utility.
6. Author academic manuscripts and technical documentation to disseminate research findings and technical advancements.
7. Perform additional tasks as necessitated by the role.
