MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Implements Safety, Food safety and Sustainability standards and ensures these are embedded within the brewing operations.
2. Identifies quality risks. Defines and ensures implementation & evaluation of local quality procedures and working instructions, in line with applicable quality regulations in Brewing department.
3. Drives technological production process in Brewing department with special focus on Safety, Food safety, Quality and Cost, from Raw materials (acceptance & storage) to Beer production.
4. Defines the required Brewing equipment and ensures that it's maintained at optimal costs and in line with HEINEKEN Standards and applicable local regulations and according to the budgeted cost.
5. Effectively organizes Brewing department and manages a team of people including recruitment, performance management and development.
6. Provides clear and accurate information for the Brewing performance, according to agreed KPIs.
7. Plans staffing and resources for the appropriate Brewing activities, and monitors the execution and progress of the Brewing planning, including productivity, priority setting and daily adjustments / instructions. Managing of department budget and other resources relevant for Brewing department.
