•As HR leader for AkzoNobel Taiwan, Liaison AN BA/BU/SMU organizations in the area to ensure AN HR processes standardization, policy harmonization, and champions employee engagement, through partnership with GBS & CoE teams.
•Support regional HR Director to drive and realize regional HR delivery model in Taiwan and ensure the deliverables.
•Provides efficient and effective business partnering support to all businesses in the region to ensure the realization of business plans.
•Bridges the regional CoE/GBS with local HR BP across all BU/SMU to support the business objectives of all BU operation in Taiwan.
•Develop and manage HR annual objectives and policies for the region.
•Implements AN HR standard and effective HR processes across AN BU/SMU in the area.
•Coordinates, monitors and drives HR harmonization projects to ensure execution and delivery.
•Provides coaching and advise to managers and employees to facilitate problem resolution and provide day to day support and advice.
•Builds and maintains strong relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure buy in of HR initiatives.
•Influences CoE/GBS ensuring the voice of the region is heard.
•Pepresents the business in dialogue with employee bodies, e.g. work councils/ labor unions to ensure the successful implantation of harmonization plans.

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) reports to the Director of Taiwan Human Resources Dept., and works closely with business leaders, line managers and HR team. HRBP is both a consultative and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to the assigned partner group. The HRBP plays critical role on executing our people initiatives, providing great internal business partnership, and driving HR functional excellence and continuous improvement.
•Work closely with the business leaders to understand business strategies, goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continuous improvements in business objectives
•Involve and execute programs associated with workforce planning, contribution management, compensation and benefit, learning and development and talent management and retention
•Fulfill talent demands and team with the recruiters to acquire top talents
•Provide advices and guidance based on HR best practices to line managers on matters related to contribution management, employee engagement, and other people related issues.
•Strong internal and external customer service focus, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
•Communicate HR messages and scale to the assigned partner group
•Maintain knowledge of local labor market trends and partner with recruitment team to implement competitive hiring strategies to attract and retain top talents
