The Storekeeper is responsible for the assisting the AITEA (AIT Employee Association) General Manager with back-end operations of the AITEA Store including procurement, advertising, store management and strategic direction and product and service selection improvements, and management of the Japanese Guest House, parking lot and cafeteria. The incumbent is responsible for assisting with the accuracy and timeliness of maintaining and recording financial records relating to the AITEA Store.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process sales transactions and provide positive customer service to customers in the AITEA Store.
• Increase product turnover and revenue by developing and implementing changes and improvements in operations to secure quality assurance through ordering, product designing, product selection, product sourcing, advertising, display, and any other areas of AITEA operations, subject to Board approval.
• Order, receive, and pay for merchandise and services from various suppliers; ensure that local and U.S. suppliers give credit to AITEA for damaged or out-of-date items on a timely basis.
• Physical demands include lifting and carrying heavy weighted objects averaging 10-15kg.
• Assist with any documents necessary for the efficient operations of AITEA and liaise with suppliers, shipping companies, and freight forwarders as necessary.
• Assist with regular and year-end inventory of AITEA merchandise; year-end inventory may be scheduled outside of normal AITEA operating hours.
• Manage multiple services including but not limited to massage therapy, dry cleaning, car wash, and manicure. This includes advertising the service, scheduling appointments, coordinating with vendors, soliciting customer feedback and addressing customer complaints, and relaying information to the AITEA General Manager to improve the services.
• Assist with events hosted by AITEA that can be used to make sales, promote items, and advertise sales.
• Manage the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) parking garage, which includes registering vehicles for all employees, keeping an accurate log of parking violations, notifying the appropriate authority when needed, providing parking enforcement, and managing the parking system and any associated billing procedures.
• Maintain good business relations with local vendors to provide services or goods to the employees of AIT.
• Manage the Japanese Guest House rental accommodations, including scheduling, handing out keys, collecting payments, and reporting cleaning and repairs that are needed.
• Quickly bring any sudden development which will have an impact on AITEA operations to the AITEA General Manager’s attention.
• Attend AITEA Board meetings when requested by the AITEA General Manager.
• Carry out all other duties as required by the AITEA General Manager or the AITEA Board to ensure the smooth operation of AITEA.

•管理預約服務項目並與廠商接洽、處理客人回饋,等。
•協助財務紀錄和商品盤點並達到年度預算。
