Position Summary
Lionbridge Games is seeking individuals who are passionate gaming translators to work in Taipei office. The role involves translating, reviewing, and auditing localization tasks in close collaboration with linguists, project managers, and our translation team. You'll be responsible for upholding high linguistic quality, ensuring tasks are completed promptly, and conducting thorough quality assurance. Adherence to document standards, style guides, and client-specific checklists is vital to meet the rigorous quality standards of both Lionbridge and our clients.
What You Will Do
• To translate, review and audit all linguistic tasks for localization.
• Work closely with other linguists, project managers, and translation team to ensure high standards of linguistic quality in all projects.
• To complete all linguistic tasks of an assigned project in a quality and timely manner.
• To perform quality assurance tasks to ensure the integrity of the deliverable including consistency of linguistic glossaries, terminology, style, layout and aesthetics.
• Adhere to document quality standards, style guides and client-specific checklists.
• To ensure the quality of responsible projects meet both Lionbridge standard and Client's requirements.
• Support and leading junior members to achieve team objectives.
