As Vitreoretinal (VR) Specialist, you are required to Strives to achieve assigned VR consumable sales goals, identify VR equipment opportunity to collaborate with surgical equipment specialist through the effective management of time and routing. The position is expected to call on all customers within responsible area, and execute sales and promotional tactics, in accordance with brand and marketing strategies. In this role, a typical day will include: • Achievement of responsible VR sales objectives, units and value. • Implement daily brand and marketing tactics, incl. RTDs, aligned with personal and district objectives and POA grid • Speed up listing process for the core product of VR disposables for the targeted hospital. • Assist key account specialist to work with surgeons in OR and synergy core product sales of VR. • Collaborate with product manager to establish product strategy by providing market dynamic. • Efficient management and tracking of time and resources (incl. samples) allocated. • Improve on selling skills (GPS) and product knowledge, together with DSM and trainer of the company. • Establish strong and effective business relationships with all customers and key decision makers, by calling on all customers at adequate frequency. • Keep up with administration tasks and support (Sales executions/SALSA, OR observation form, PAF, EFA Compliance, sales forecasts, Follow-up with marketing activities, PMP), and provide timely reporting. • Report on competitive activities and follow-up commercial strategies, in a timely manner. • Ensure compliance of company SOPs, vigilance reporting, code of conduct and local regulations in daily operation. • Complete any other business task assigned by supervisor. As Sr. Regulatory Affairs Manager, you are required to be responsible for new product registration and maintenance of existing product licenses within Taiwan and collaborating with global and Taiwan cross-functional business partners. Engages in trust-based scientific discussion with regulatory officials, while efficiently gaining regulatory go-ahead for top priority products and programs. This role is also accountable to partner with Country Franchise Heads (Vision Care & Surgical) to drive and execute Market Access activities including engaging with relevant government bodies and payers, to negotiate pricing and reimbursement terms, as well as submitting reimbursement dossiers and manage ongoing negotiations. In this role, a typical day will include: Regulatory Affairs • Responsible for regulatory plans, submission, and approval of clinical trial and marketing authorization applications for all new products and life cycle management of marketed products in Taiwan, aligned with Global Regulatory and Region and Country business strategies and plans. • Responsible for establishing and management of regulatory staff in Taiwan and driving performance as measured by expeditious development of plans, regulatory submissions, and approvals in Taiwan. • Monitor operational progression of pre-marketing authorization activities at the country level through contact with country regulatory agencies or committees, as required. • Strategic communication with the country's regulatory agencies or committees to expedite new marketing authorization approvals and other operational regulatory interventions. • Ensures all documents submitted to regulatory agencies are complete, well organized, in regulatory compliance, and presented in a manner that facilitates agency review. • Responsible for maintaining records of regulatory submissions and communications with the relevant regulatory agencies. • Work with commercial colleagues to develop promotional strategies and provide regulatory review for promotional materials. • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with health authorities; identify regulatory risks for investigational and marketed products and develop strategies to minimize those risks. • Monitor and provide regulatory intelligence on new medical device legislation, guidance, and policy proposals impacting Alcon’s products or processes. Provide regulatory intelligence on competitive products and companies. • Accountable for ensuring Alcon is adequately represented in relevant advocacy groups, to ensure the company position is considered as new regulations are proposed by health authorities. Market Access • Closely coordinate, support, and align on health policy priorities with Alcon management strategy for surgical products and vision care products franchises. • Work with the Taiwan commercial team (1) to develop and carry out Alcon’s policy agenda for reimbursement; (2) monitor/track state legislative activity. Prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers and manage ongoing negotiations. • Develop Alcon relationships with external policy stakeholders such as industry trade associations (e.g., AdvaMed, APACMED), hospital associations, patient advocacy groups (Prevent Blindness), and professional societies (e.g., AAO, AOA, ASCRS) • Participate in trade association policy working groups and other forums.

As Legal Counsel, you are required to be responsible for providing strategic and legal advice in all matters that are relevant to business, such as contracts, litigation, disputes and employee relations. In addition, he/she is responsible for establishing, promoting, and reinforcing compliance standards, aligned with local laws and regulations in close collaboration with the local Compliance Officer. This role receives support and direction from the Head of Legal (Taiwan and Hong Kong) and also provides legal guidance and training in key legal areas. In this role, a typical day will include: * Provides substantive and strategic legal support to the Surgical and Vision Care Franchise heads and other local leaders and their respective teams, and more specifically advises on the execution of franchise projects at local level (launch of key products, new surgical business models and strategies, equipment financing agreements, pricing and discount policies, etc.…). * Review and advice Franchise and Functions on legal implications of internal policies and procedures. Also guide on any new policies to be prepared in the interest of the organization, as and when required. * Assist in the negotiation of various commercial contracts. * Assist in review in localization of global standard contract templates and translations; as well as implementation of the new global contracting system, Icertis. * Mitigates litigation risk exposure, including risks derived from anti-competition issues and employee relations, to defend and strengthen Alcon’s reputation. * Review tender agreements and advise on public procurement framework. * Manages legal housekeeping and corporate secretarial work (archiving of contracts, contract management, corporate registration etc.). * Support on data privacy work. * Monitors legal developments; ensures that the business considers legal trends and risks in the execution of the business strategy. * Support / lead, internal investigations as needed from time to time. * Support in all government and/or similar audits and investigations, internal Audit, ensuring proper support and guidance to franchises. * Ensures adherence to the Alcon Outside Counsel Policy and liaises with external law firms; * Provide legal advice and trainings. * Works closely with the Country Compliance Officer to foster a culture of ethics and integrity in the organization. * Works to foster a diverse and inclusive environment free from all forms of discrimination and harassment.
