Summary: This position is a full-time office-based role in Taipei with responsibilities in two major areas Office Administration and QA Lab testing.
Office Administration
• Shipping and receiving – occasionally send small items such as laptops and circuit boards to US headquarters and or vendors.
• Research local vendors for items such as 3D printing, boxes, etc.
• Order office supplies as needed.
• Organize and keep inventory of small parts and office supplies.
• Scheduling meetings in conference rooms.
• Receive mail and distribute as needed.
• Other tasks as needed to support the local team.
QA Lab
• Maintain QA Lab capabilities so that PTP, Noise, Moisture, and Usability testing can be performed on Cirque touchpads.
• Make suggestions for upgrades to laboratory equipment and procedures.
• Perform basic soldering when needed for electrical testing. Training provided if needed.
• Troubleshoot technical issues by following written instructions and directions from the direct manager.
• Perform QA tests and generate reports in Word or PowerPoint as needed.
Requirements:
• Previous technician experience preferred.
• Expertise in Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Strong communication skills, including customers and suppliers.
• Fluent in Mandarin is required.
• English proficiency – strong reading and writing skills and basic conversational skills.
• Work onsite Monday-Friday
This position reports directly to Director, Quality with significant interaction with QA and Hardware teams at Cirque’s headquarters. Project Managers will also provide direction on workload and task priority.
