Job Description:
This role is responsible for leading and coordinating a project team's overall performance, scope, cost, and deliverables. Drives the charge with project direction, metric definition, and performance management. Serves as Lead to provide business, technical and personnel management to subordinate groups of functional and technical consultants across multiple disciplines such as business applications and systems development.
Responsibilities:
- Work with and influence cross-functional teams (Operations areas, IT, PMO) and clients to drive successful day-to-day operations and solution deployments.
- Responsible for the overall, day-to-day management of a specific task order or group of task orders affecting the same or related/interdependent systems.
- Help clients transform and optimise their CRM, ERP and analytics solutions.
- Experience with interface, documentation and requirements traceability.
- Schedules and assigns work to consultants, engineers and subcontractors and monitors progress and resolves discrepancies to ensure compliance with work/quality standards and contract/task order requirements.
- Ensures that the functional and technical solutions and schedules in the task order(s) are implemented within estimated timeframes and budget constraints.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline; or above
- PMP, PBA certification preferred
- At least 2 full cycle ERP and/or CRM implementation projects
- Project management experience
- Experience in post go-live production support
Knowledge and Skills:
- With 5 or more years of solid experience managing system integration, design, development, testing, implementation, integration, operations and/or program management of CRM and/or ERP or related business applications implementation experience.
- At least 3 years of being functional consultant, business analyst, software engineer or project manager.
- Requires competence in all phases of program management for complex business applications.
- Requires knowledge of system integration techniques, interface technical documentation, Functional Design Specs and project management practices.
- Experience with interface, documentation and requirements traceability.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently based on the strategic plan or under general direction.
- Must be able to effectively employ contemporary project management tools.
- Must be customer focused and responsive, confident in customer handling
- Can-do attitude, with entrepreneurial spirit
- Plans and leads major technology assignments.
- Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Ability to effectively supervise others.
- Ability to learn fast with new technologies and techniques to solve complex customer issues.
