Role purpose:
The successful candidate is responsible for Formosa Solar project development function, providing leadership, integration, and management of the project development process and improving the consistency and efficiency of Formosa Solar’s project delivery.
You are responsible for ensuring the completion of construction projects within budget and schedule by overseeing all phases of the project. This entails working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to schedule and plan work, coordinate equipment and materials procurement, operate within budget, and monitor overall progress.
1). Accurately report project progress based on basic budget and schedule information.
2). Lead the execution of project governance, reporting, and review framework to provide a holistic view of all project activities, including regular updates of projects under development and construction regarding costs and timelines.
3). Manage coordination across and within projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks, and issues are effectively communicated among stakeholders and that key performance indicators are monitored and evaluated.
4). In charge and responsible for delivering projects on budget and time on a repeated and predictable basis through project control processes and on-hand management.

Qualifications:
1). >10 years of project management/engineering experience
2). Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the key value drivers of a solar energy project
3). Project management skills, including developing and implementing processes and procedures to provide rigor and improve project control and monitoring
4). Strong track record of managing and growing teams in a success-driven environment.
5). Track record of establishing standard operating procedures (“SOPs”) and policies to optimize outcomes and minimize risks.
6). Proven relationship management ability with genuine relationships with key stakeholders in the solar energy industry is a plus.
7). Prior experience with solar energy power development, construction, and /or operations is a plus.
8). English (spoken and written) is viewed favorably but not essential.
