Reporting to the regional Sales and Commercial Leader, YOU will be responsible for the regional team driving sales across a range of diverse markets, including General Industry, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Rail, Mining & Metals, and Microgrid segments.
With the support of technical resources in the region, our global centre of excellence and at the various GE Power Conversion factories, YOU will coordinate the various offerings of power electronics, rotating machines, automation & control, digital and services pivotal to the operation and decarbonization across these industries.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Leadership, growth and development of the Taiwan sales and associated support functions, driving both short and medium/long term sales strategies for the GE Power Conversion portfolio, ensuring appropriate sales coverage and performance to plan.
2. Secure key new unit and project opportunities for the Taiwan market.
3. Drive and own relationships and opportunities development of key OEM, and EPC accounts in Taiwan.
4. Working with the regional and global leadership team for the development of growth strategies and necessary resource deployment.
5. Leadership of the services sales and fleet manager team that provide services, products and support to the Taiwan installed base.
6. Accountability of key business metrics, including Orders, Down Payments and Sales Margin growth.
7. Be the voice of the customer and able to translate their needs cross-functionally within GE Power Conversion organization.
8. Develop and mentor a high performing commercial team across Taiwan.
9. Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership, and compliance
Required Qualifications
-. Experience in offering solutions to General Industry, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Rail, Mining & Metals, and Microgrid segments
- Possess Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience with at least 5-10 years in a similar capacity or industry focus
- Proven track record in the ability to sell both complex systems and products
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving
- Sound business acumen.
