The Developer Relations (DevRel) Ecosystem team manages and builds relationships with developers and startups globally to create a two-way channel for product messaging, feedback, and adoption.
We work with developers and community influencers that lead and play an important role in the scaling of awareness and education for developer products, while also finding other creative ways to increase community engagement.
【Job Description】
● As a Program Coordinator, you'll take ownership of coordinating and executing events focused on the Indie Games Accelerator, Play Academy Study Jam, Indie Games Groups, and more.
● Your passion for games, along with proven event planning, project management, and stakeholder relationship skills will ensure the seamless delivery of these developer initiatives in collaboration with DevRel team.
【Responsibilities】
● Collaborate with game development studios on initiatives like the Indie Games Accelerator, Play Academy Study Jam, and Indie Games Groups.
● Gather data and feedback to generate insights for the DevRel team. Prepare and present findings.
● Organize and execute developer outreach (workshops, meetups, events) to educate developers on offerings. This may involve managing event agencies.
● Adapt to a flexible schedule that may include extended or weekend hours as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
● Higher Diploma in Business/IT/Computer Studies; or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
● 3+ years program or project management experience with excellent coordination.
● Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
● Proven experience in event organization, including workshops, presentations, or public speaking (emceeing/hosting a plus).
● Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams across time zones.
● Ability to navigate through challenging situations with confidence and professionalism.
● Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, adaptable to a dynamic environment.
● Bonus: Deep knowledge of the game development industry, including key players (developers, publishers, investors) and their unique needs.
