▍Job Purpose
This role is accountable for leading and executing the Perfect Store initiative designed to transform physical availability and drive profitable NSV growth by step changing the quantity and quality of our brand execution in store for both Taiwan and Hong Kong.
The role is also accountable for developing incentive programs and deploying Global learning solutions to KA and Field Sales.
▍Key Accountabilities or Responsibilities
• Directly own and lead Perfect Store work streams – X-Ray, Picture of Success, KPIs, data collation and reporting. Align scope, timing and resources required with local team and Asia cluster to deliver the Perfect Store capability priorities.
• Deploy and adapt global governance models, resource templates, process steps, workshop templates and scorecards for the unit’s Perfect Store program whilst maintaining consistency with global Mars Snacking and Pet Nutrition.
• Ensure integration with other Perfect Store enabler’s e.g. sales incentives, trade architecture, retail coverage model and sales force automation.
• Collaborate with Asia Cluster Customer Excellence Director in order to share/receive best practice and drive the long term Mars Perfect Store capability agenda. Deliver relevant case studies and contribute regularly to Global and Asia program tracking.
• Optimize and generate Merchandising report (eFex) to identify merchandising opportunity, ensure in-store execution excellence and increase field sales in-store tasks efficiency.
• In line with Sales Capability Strategy and the needs of the local market, address learning needs executing global learning tools, develop local sales capability programs and deploy incentives program.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify future potential capability requirements and ensure these are fed back to relevant capability communities to use as input into future capability design thinking.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of capability-building activities to assess the value added to individuals, teams and the business and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
▍Context and Scope
Physical availability capabilities encompass both our vision for in-store execution (picture of success), as well as sales enablers that help improve store compliance. These include sales incentives, trade architecture, retail coverage model, sales force automation, and sales training.
This role will create and maintain alignment with Market Director, Asia Cluster Customer Excellence Head, Sales Head and wider leadership team on the scope, resources and timing for the deployment of Perfect Store. It will then act as an ongoing catalyst for the program, driving and maintaining momentum, removing blockers and effectively escalating resourcing issues.
This role will also identify potential capability requirements, design and develop learning solutions to address Sales needs of the markets.
