1. Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with Sales, Marketing and SGP.
2. Take appropriate actions over the impacts of all factors on demand and sales on the planning horizon
3. Define and communicate the target stock level and model stock for each Store / Market (regional / local warehouse) / Subsidiary according to life cycle (new products, recurrent items, phasing out…) and expected service level. Analyze and improve the forecast accuracy
4. Ensure the inventory deployment according to the demand and inventory level in coordination with the demand manager
5. Allocate the products according to the priorities /opportunities / constraints in terms of transportation, shipping ...
6. Communicate the availability of products to Stores / Markets / Clients / Subsidiaries or to Customer Service if exists
7. Plan and organize new product launches and end of life product strategies in cooperation with the Sales / Marketing departments through monthly stock meeting
