We are now looking for a Senior Procurement who is capable of managing and developing current and new suppliers to reach the “Best Buy” through optimizing price, quality, logistics and capability of Vari products in an operational and strategical way with a professional, fair and demanding approach. A comprehensive understanding of transportation service operations is beneficial. You will be a great team player and able to work with different teams across the company to make sure orders and shipments are managed as expected.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Taking the overall responsibility for supplier performance and relationship
Developing and supporting suppliers in meeting Vari’s requirements and continuously improving their performance
Working as a business account manager and taking the lead position between suppliers and Vari internal team including product development, engineering, demand/supply planning, and purchasing.
Securing supplier action plans to deliver cost savings and better product design.
Handling deviations within the business with the sense of urgency and in a structured way.
Developing and documenting process improvement to achieve company’s objectives.
Handle communication with vendors regarding shipments arrangement, shipping schedule, and addressing cargo receiving shortages.
Manage shipping documents from vendors and make sure they are accurate.
Execute the processing of purchase orders and shipments within the ERP system (Experience with SAP is a plus) in compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
HOW YOU’LL GET THERE
4-6 years of experience and knowledge in supplier sourcing, purchasing and business development.
Knowledge of supply chain cost drivers and analytical skills for working with numbers.
Passion for business. Result and target oriented.
Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
Strong motivation to find new business opportunity and make it happen through engaging and motivating people.
Be an excellent team player. Respect and value everyone’s contribution.
Concentrating energy to fix business issues and deal with changing variables in uncertain situations.
Experience with ERP order system. SAP is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Fluency in English
