In order to continue our seamless collaboration with clients on highly customized development and manufacturing, we are looking for a self-motivated Senior Supply Chain Specialist to help manage and improve our supply chain processes.
The ideal candidate is proactive and willing to collaborate with the different stakeholders to effectively manage the company’s supply chain. Further responsibility will include managing the company’s purchasing processes, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted efficiently and cost-effectively. The successful candidate will be a central pillar to our business and your work will be essential for delivering our growth plans over the coming 5 years.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES / QUALIFICATIONS
General
o Prior experience of at least 2-5 years within a purchasing/procurement or supply chain role, ideally with some exposure to the electronics industry (although not mandatory).
o Must be technologically capable and able to work within an ERP system and Excel.
o Good oral and writing communication skills is essential. General fluency in English is a plus.
o Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects at any given time.
o Has the ability to thrive in dynamic cross-functional and cross-cultural work environment.
o Must be willing to attend 5S and/or other related training to improve personal skill set.
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Manage the placement of purchase orders (PO) and monitor order delivery including logistics and vendor communications.
o Actively negotiate with approved vendors on MOQ and lead time reductions to minimize total costs and inventories.
o Manage and accurately update materials, cost and inventory details within the ERP system.
o Collaboratively work internally with engineering, finance and assembly teams as well as externally with vendors and logistics to ensure customer order and lead time requirements are met.
o Conduct regular BOM reviews to identify/escalate potential sourcing issues. Proactively work with colleagues and vendors to mitigate supply chain risks.
o Manage and accurately monitor all inbound and outbound warehousing-related operations including receiving, shipping, and storage.
o Manage and plan warehousing space including storage space allocation and label management.
o Regularly implement an inventory plan to track and review inventory quantities and records.
o Actively identify and make recommendations to improve the efficiency of procurement and inventory processes.
o Help facilitate and maintain relationships between Suntek and vendors/partners, create vendor quality standards, and identify best available vendors.
